I go back into the bedroom and see that Soren and Ayla are lying down, he's stroking her hair, I take off the clothes I'm wearing and lie down.

I'm not going to tell him what's going on, Soren won't know how to deal with it, not in the state he's in.

"She ate it all." Soren said. "She even asked me for blood, but I refused and Ayla became agitated, which made her lose her strength and fall asleep."

Soren informed me and I just nodded that I had understood, but I wrapped my arms around my mate's belly, feeling better with this closeness. I hadn't noticed...
