"Doctor," Cole shouted while helping Emma put Nikki on the stretcher.

"Cole, it's hurt, it hurt," Nikki whispered in pain while squeezing his hand.

"It's going to be okay, baby. Doctor Rony is on his way. He will be here in no time," Cole said while caressing her forehead to calm her down.

"What is taking her so long? Didn't you inform her that my water broke before driving me here?" Nikki asks with a sniff.

"She wasn't here. She was at a conference when I called her. She told the nurse to keep the room ready and...
