I stared at Brielle as she kept hammering on our relationship to the press.

Has she really accepted this divorce wholeheartedly? Is she just saying this to get rid of the press?

Her confidence no longer pleased me like it always does. Now, I found it displeasing.

"Your Alpha is here. You can ask him yourself. Isn't that right? " She directed the question at me, facing my point.

"I am just your secretary and ex-wife. We are not in an affair, isn't that right? " Her brow lifted at me, waiting for a response.
