I didn't waste any more time coming back

As I walked towards Liana and Damian, I felt my heart racing with excitement and anticipation for no particular reason. It started feeling like it had been so long since I last saw them,though in reality is had not even been days in human time. The thought of being reunited with them was overwhelming . It felt like I was coming back to my beloved family just like another human father, returning tired from work.

It brought me great joy.
