I came back at dawn with my head full of anger at myself. The night outside the den had been hell. Her scent leaked through the door and kept my wolf pacing. I wanted to break in and take her a hundred times. She was the enemy, the spy who came to ruin my pack. An omega from the village I destroyed. I should hate her clean but her heat called me like nothing else. I hated wanting her, I hated the pull. I stood outside the door and punched the wall once. "Get control," I told myself. Then I opened the door.
