Gevan’s car came to an abrupt stop in front of the Daxon residence. His brows immediately furrowed when he saw an incomprehensible sight.
Several large suitcases, boxes, and his bags were neatly arranged in the front yard.
“What is this…” he muttered.
Gevan got out of the car with quick steps. He looked around, hoping this was just a servant’s mistake. But he had a bad feeling.
Before he could move any farther, the main door of the house opened.
Claudia stepped out.
She was not alone.
Her hand was intimately linked with a middle-aged man whom Gevan knew very well. A man he had always called Uncle.
