As the rays of sunlight gently streamed through the parted curtains of my bedroom window, I blinked multiple times to get my eyes to adapt to the sudden light after being asleep for more than eight hours I guess.

I stretched, a content sighed leaving my mouth but I immediately winced in pain at the pounding headache from my hangover. I gently rubbed the side of my head where the pain was worst in order to try and ease it but nothing worked.
