At first, his face contorted into a visibly shocked expression, for the briefest moment rendered completely speechless...

Until it suddenly morphed, his plump lips escaping a roaring laugh.

I simply stared at him whilst he doubled-over into a fit of crazed laughter, even tilting my head to the side as I patiently waited for him to get himself together and give me a plausible explanation.

I've asked a pertinent question after all.
