Outburst

After a painfully long and very awkward ride, we finally reached Luc's estate -as Azrael demanded- and I quickly bolted out of the car, rushing to put as much distance as possible between us, struggling to calm down my racing heart and wretched nerves.

Standing just a few feet away from the car on the concrete alley I then took a deep breath, closing my eyes for a brief moment, still feeling a ghost of the warm sensation wherever his skin had made contact with mine, making it even harder for me to calm down.
