I should have expected them to ask that question.

I tried explaining what a person with dwarfism was, but I was told that no, they didn't match that description. Then I tried to explain what I understood of dwarves in things like Lord of the Rings. God, I wish I had actually watched the movies. I had tried, but found it to be so unbelievable and dumb... I couldn't finish it. I hardly got out of the hobbit town...

And now I was living it.

Wait...

"HOBBITS!" I gasped. "The Halfmen are hobbits!"

Again, I had to explain what I understood...
