Without a single word Will's emotionless eyes locked with mine, for a second I thought I saw something flicker in those grey orbs of his, but it was gone as soon as it had appeared.

Will's face suddenly looked terrifying, dangerous. This was not the man I had fallen in love with, this was a monster. I had been stupid to think otherwise. My eyes were still locked with his, I tried to fill my gaze with as much hate and anger as I could. For a moment his face contorted, as if in pain, but then within a second his expression became distant.
