Why?

I've been staring at the damn television set for almost 5 hours now, straight. Watching a marathon of a love movie of some sort when the girl falls for her best friend, but then he rejects her saying they can only be friends and then she goes ahead and falls for another guy who is crazy in love with her. Few months passes and then her best friend realizes that he indeed had feelings for her and didn't mean what he said months ago so he looks for her and tells her how he feels.
