One year later.

The night was cold and dark, yet the colorful lights from the party brightened up the night, and everyone present was chatting and laughing, even dancing. Everyone had a smile on their face, whether fake or forced, all except one person who had been gloomy and cold all year.

"How much longer do I have to be here?" Alexander asked his assistant for the tenth time this hour, checking his watch impatiently.

"Em... Sir... You still have an hour left," his assistant affirmed with a stammer.

Alexander's cold expression turned even gloomier. One hour. He still had to be here for a whole hour!...
