Alexander's POV
She kept her eyes shut for a few minutes before opening them again. She stared directly in the direction of my study, and for a second, I thought she was looking straight at me.
But she couldn't be looking at me. The study floor-to-length window to an outsider was completely tinted. It almost didn't look like a window.
Just when I thought she had decided to stay there, she stood up, her frail body staggering.
What happened to her? I thought as I saw her tremble slightly.
I got the answer as soon as I saw her limping towards the gate.
She got hurt.
My heart had suffered...
