Kai's message flashed on my phone, "Where are you?"

I quickly typed back, "Can both of you come to my room? We need to discuss something important."

Moments later, there was a knock on my door. Kai and Xavier stepped in, their faces etched with concern.

Xavier was the first to speak. "You said you wanted to talk. Please don't say you're thinking of leaving us." His voice trembled slightly, betraying his worry.

Kai added, "When you mention 'we need to talk' in a message, it's usually not a good sign. It often means someone's ending things." He looked at me with apprehensive eyes.
