Irene's POV

Listening to the praises of Damien made me feel proud, despite the fact that I only acted back there with my instincts. I just had to follow my heart and do whatever my mind told me to do and it worked.

Damien darted off to Xavier's room, going to share the news that we discovered, I hated the fact that if I walk into his room with Damien, I would be insulted, so I retraced my steps and halted abruptly.

"Aren't you coming in with me?"

"Not really, you can go in, I'm a bit unwell, guess this migraines doesn't seem to know what time it should affect...
