Lola's POV

     It was nighttime when I woke up. The room was eerily quiet and it sent chills up my spine. I automatically reached for Adrian but his space was empty and cold, indicating that he had left the bedroom for a while. 

      What if something had happened to him and he was suffering alone somewhere? The thoughts had barely formed in my head when I sprang up and ran out of the room, ignoring the fact that I wasn't wearing any shoes nor decent clothes..

      I just wanted to make sure he was safe.
