Her lips were set in a straight line, as one tear fell from the corner of his left eye. "Daddy told you already?" He didn't even know what she was talking about, and he only shook his head. "Kaitlyn...forgive me for everything. I am a fool." Where was he getting all of this from? He seemed under a spell. And that spell made him want her. Just her. Not even a thought of Linda crossed his mind. "I have to do something now." She said and his eyes widened. "Are you going to talk to me after?" She nodded, then brushed past him, down the stairs.
