I paced back and forth in my room, my mind racing with a jumble of thoughts and emotions. Erica sat on the bed, watching me with a mixture of concern and impatience etched on her face.

"Can you stop walking up and down?" Erica asked, her voice firm but gentle. "You're making me dizzy."
