My world went dark as I was pulled away from Lorenzo's lifeless body. I struggled against the grip of the men, but they were too strong. As they dragged me through the mansion, I screamed and struggled, trying to run back to Lorenzo.

Christopher's cruel laughter echoed through the halls. "Toss him away, far from the pack," he ordered. "Probably the desert. The vultures would be so happy."

"You'll never get away with this," I spat, my eyes teary and my voice shaking with rage.
