As soon as Layla left the party I went back and tried to look for her father.

I needed to know what happened between them that got Layla so mad after seeing him again. But as soon as our eyes connected, he looked away.

I tried to get him alone to speak to him, but after several attempts, it became clear that he was avoiding me.
