The sex was perfect. Too perfect.

Emily lay beside me, her body barely covered by the sheets, scrolling through her phone like she hadn’t just rocked my entire existence.

I watched her, my chest rising and falling, still trying to catch my breath. My skin was slick with sweat, my muscles aching in that good way, but none of it mattered.
