I stare at my phone again, my hand tight around it as my thumb hovers over the screen. 

The pictures glare back at me like they are alive, like they are mocking me. Emma in bed with Ethan. My jaw clenches so hard it hurts, but I don’t look away. My chest rises and falls, slow but heavy, as anger crawls through my veins.

I knew it.

I always knew something was off. The way she denied everything too quickly. Now it’s right here in front of me.
