My hands tremble as I dial his number for the upteenth time. My heart tightens in panic as it rings continuously without a response.

The last time I saw him, he told me he will be attending a meeting. At the close of work, I went back to his office to check on him but he was not there.

What is happening? The wall clock chimes 12 a.m reminding me it's mid night.

Knox is not a night crawler. He always return home in time even when we have our issues, he never stays out.

He has never taken this long for a meeting.
