My heart tightens, seeing her this way breaks my heart. Tears slipped from her eyes.

“I know I caused this,” her voice trembles. “But I'm sorry. Don't you love me again?”

I quickly pull her into a tight hug, running my hand in her back. “ I love you more than you can ever imagine,” my voice cracks. “Don't cry, please.”

Her shoulder shakes as she burst into more tears. “Knox, I'm sorry.”

“It's okay my love,” I say.

For a moment, we remain in each other's arms. My arms wraps around her like a cocoon.

I feel like giving myself a slap. Gina doesn't deserve any of these....
