I sat on the bed quietly as the doctor did some checkups on me. He checked the wound on my forehead and the back of my head, then finally assessed my heart rate with his stethoscope.

"Do you feel pain anywhere?" He inquired, placing the stethoscope back around his neck.

"Yes, my head still hurts but not as severe as it was earlier."

"The nurse will administer another pain relief drug and change the bandage as well. So, please lie back on the bed and rest while she is at it."
