Reviewing proposals on my computer, my mind frequently drifted away as I fervently glanced at my cell phone, but nothing came. Despite knowing the consequences of what I was doing, I was still utterly curious about her reaction. If not, reactions.

I was obviously making a bigger fool out of myself but with the outcome of events, it was my fault to begin with. So, the only thing that crossed my mind all day was to make amends for my mistakes.
