Nick did not answer, he just stared at me.

"Why can't you answer me? Is that so hard to answer?" I asked him again.

"What do you want to hear from me?" Nick seriously asked.

"The truth!"

Nick sighed aloud then he looks at me intently. "Yes. I am in love with Hadley Adelson."

The moment Hadley barge in Quen's office telling she got the information from Nick, I knew something is fishy.

I can't believe what I just heard right now, even though I already expecting it.

Nick was a good friend to us. And hearing this feels like I have been betrayed...
