The moment Natalie finally reached Damon and wrapped her arms around his shoulders I felt mum relax. She sighed out and leant into dads shoulder clearly exhausted.

Natalie was harsh and she had every right to be she was probably scared to lose her only son but there was no need to be so rough on my mom who was just trying to help.

" I'll see you at the house" I said to them. I knew I couldn't just go I needed to be with Damon and he would be staying at mine anyway.

They left quietly. It was late and everyone was tired.
