Otis's POV:

"A wolf pack like us?"

I saw Jace freeze for a moment, but he didn't refuse to answer my words.

"I don't know exactly how many there are, but at least there can't be fewer, and for all I know, there's another pack less than a hundred miles from here that's in a similar position to us."

"Are they facing the same situation as you."

"No, they are even worse."

As I listened to his words I fell silent, and what Conrad had once said came into my mind.
