The hands let go of me. I was still shaken but I wasn't scared.

“Argh!"

I was pinned to the wall with such force that the wind was knocked from my chest.

A hand caressed my cheek and I could feel warm fanning against my face.

“Mate."

The stranger grunted back in a deep husky voice. Shivers ran down my spine. My breathing was out of control.

There was a heavy silence between us. I wanted to say something but my voice was trapped in my throat.
