"What was that?" I pushed Rachel off me and asked. We were not really doing anything bad. Rachel had come for a visit and we were just chatting when she started freezing up. Afraid, I thought a symptom from her illness had hit her.

It was too sudden.

Seeing how she was shivering and freezing up, I held her to offer some warmth and comfort.

As we sat there, I admit that I could not help but think of all the times we had been in this position before, but with different emotions at play. We had broken up a few months ago, but seeing her like this...
