Not getting what she was expecting, I watched as Rachel shaking. Or rather trying to control her emotions.

"Jay, you…"

"Rachel, you should know me better. Or did you plan this?" I asked, raising my brows.

"Jay! I-how could you think that of me!" She asked, fuming.

Then she got up angrily and walked out of the office after mumbling what no one could hear or understand.

"Pathetic." I said just after she shut the door.

She wanted to help but, with marriage attached? That was a crazy offer. I never thought it would get to this. Why not just help out? Divorcing my wife for assistance.
