My hands balled into fist as I got off the phone with Jason’s grandfather.

Not only were things going horribly wrong for me, Jason and Violet’s relationship seemed to be getting even stronger. He had managed to bring them closer together instead of the other way around and I had no idea how he managed that.

He literally had one job.

How difficult was it to separate two people? His entire family hated her, it should have been easy.

My plan seemed to be working against me. How on earth had Grandpa Clarksville managed to get them closer instead of apart?
