My phone buzzed repeatedly on the table as I tried fixing my hair.

“Who the f**k is this!” I groaned angrily as I picked up the phone from the table.

Checking the screen of the phone, I noticed it was a private number.

“Good evening,” I greeted with courtesy as the other person was refusing to speak.

“I hope you are almost ready, the driver will pick you up soon,” I heard Jason's voice over the phone. I wondered why he was using a different phone to call me.

“Okay…” I was still saying when I heard the long tone indicate he had ended the call.
