"Yes, you do"

Excited, Donald moved over to hug me but I stopped him quickly. "No, don't do that."

"Oh, right"

"Why don't you go on out there and check ok Clara?" I say. "Something must be keeping her waiting."

I just didn't want Donald and I to be left alone for too long. Just before Donald exited my room, I popped up the one question that had been in my head ever since.

"Hey, Donald?"

"Yes?"

"What about Joe? Did anything happen to him?"

It was weird that Donald didn't mention anything about Joe after he'd ended his story.
