That bastard Jason.

He must have known that I was going to reject the ride, that's why he threatened the poor man. I really do not need the ride not because I don't want to take it but because Joe must not see me with the car.

He would easily guess that it was from Jason and there's nothing I would say to convince him. But then, I wouldn't want this poor man to lose his job for my sake. I looked at him helplessly and went to the car.
