Jason's POV

"Have a great day at work." I kissed Violet on the cheeks as she walked out the door the next day.

"You too, baby." She kissed me back. She was wearing her scrubs today and she looked delicious in them. I almost wanted to stop her from going to work today but I had too much to do plus I was pretty sure I couldn't stop her if I tried.

I opened her car door for her and she slipped in.

"Don't forget to get food in your stomach today."

I told her because she had a silly habit of forgetting to eat sometimes.

"I won't, I promise."...
