Jason drove like a mad person. He was drifting through traffic and even at a red light. At the end of the trip I didn't need to wonder why he needed a driver. I was not too worried about his driving skills though, I even felt glad because it made us arrive at the hospital in time.

What was wrong with dad? Is he okay? Are there any complications? The surgery was already set for the day after tomorrow, could it be that his body could not make it till then.
