When Mr. Gozon heard this, he immediately pushed Ariza toward the man, causing her conversation with Emerald to be interrupted. The man glanced at Ariza as she subtly nudged Emerald aside and extended her hand in front of him.

"Hi!"

The man furrowed his brow and continued to stare at her. Meanwhile, Iris hurried over to Emerald.

"How embarrassing. She's so dramatic," she whispered to Emerald while watching Ariza’s actions.

"I know why you're here. Please tell Mr. Corrigan that—"

"Teacher Greene..." the man called out to Emerald, turning to her before Ariza could finish what she was saying.
