Mira POV

I rushed into the elevator, my heart pounding with hot anger. I can only hope nobody saw what had just happened.

What exactly is going on? Because even though he’s still very much hung up over that dead bitch, at least he still plays pretense with me. He never once loses control or even talks about her. He even forbids anyone talking about her, and I'd always thought it was because he hated her, but later on I figured it's because he's still caught up with her.
