Ryan just tilted his head, his smile widening into a predatory grin.

“Don't be impatient, dear brother,” he drawled, enjoying my discomfort. “It’s coming. It’s even closer than it ever was, so you won’t be curious for long.”

“He’s probably bluffing, Alpha, trying to get your attention away,” Kellan muttered, his hand still clamped tightly on my arm. “Ask him about Selene.”
