After sitting with mom until she fell back asleep, I finally left the hospital wing and headed back toward the main pack house to find Luka.

I needed to know what he was going to say this morning before he barged in and saw Lucian and me tangled in the sheets.

But he was nowhere I thought he would be, and I had absolutely no idea where Varrick was either. At least Luka might’ve actually run his mouth to Varrick, so finding either of them would have solved the mystery.
