The next morning

I left the hospital and came back home with Kellan. I didn’t get a minute of sleep all night, not that I needed it. My wolf and I could handle going two days or more without rest but Kellan is different.

“You can go and get some rest,” I told him as soon as we entered the house. “I’m going to find the Omega who brought the berries last night.”

“Then we’ll go together,” he said immediately.

I shook my head. “No. You should go and have some rest. Besides, you’ll need your full strength to hold the pack while I’m gone in the evening.”
