Jennifer, after a good while of being convinced, got into the car and Avalon drove off, stopping only after they arrived at her home. They both got in and settled down. But no one said a word. The atmosphere was entirely new and felt very strange for both parties. Avalon having to turn up in his true identity was a whole lot to deal with.
