I stood at the balcony watching the commotion outside the gates.

The soldiers were starting to use violence on the protesters and I guess its under the King's orders too.

I cringed feeling so devastated.

Can I ever be happy again???

My heart ached as I reminisced over what has happened over the past weeks.

All the punishments and tortures I've received from the King just because of one stupid girl who is even a witch!

I wish I gave birth to a boy when I had the chance. I'm tired of the shame I face whenever I look into my daughter's face.
