"Brenda was attending to Katherine when she slowly opened her eyes, squinting as her vision remained blurry.

"Who are you?" she mumbled, adjusting to her surroundings.

"I'm Brenda. The Alpha asked me to take care of you properly," Brenda replied as Katherine sat up.

"What happened to me? I feel like someone is pounding my brains," Katherine groaned.

"It's called a headache," Brenda responded.

"Yeah. Where is he?" Katherine asked, slipping on her floppy slippers.

"He has left for work, Luna," Brenda explained, leaving to fetch the food she had prepared in the kitchen. Upon her return, she was surprised to find Katherine kneeling on the floor, deep in prayer....
