“You're back!” Rebecca smiled, a gesture Katherine found both unusual and annoying.

“Yes, I am,” Katherine replied, casting a glance around the sitting room with a wry smile. She exhaled before turning to face Rebecca. “Why did you request my return? Aren't you afraid I'll steal your position and husband?”
