“The water is still warm. Don’t turn it off yet.”

He kept one hand on my hip and reached past me to adjust the temperature higher. Steam filled the small faculty shower room we had slipped into after leaving his office.

The building was empty. The long weekend kept every hallway quiet. His coaching gear comment from earlier did not apply here but the same urgency did. We had not made it far from the locked office door before he pulled me into the nearest private bathroom with a shower stall and shut us inside.
