Amelia's POV

I raised my head once I was done serving him and my eyes met his gaze. It felt so dark and dangerous like a stormy blue sea, but I could see the message it had in them. He was an inch away from devouring me and there was nothing I could do to stop him.

The thought jolted me back to action.

I moved back a bit and cleared my throat, trying to bring back his attention.

He looked at the food that was served and said gruffly. “Amelia, come and eat with me. Sir right here.” And he touched the space beside him on the couch.
